Our client is looking for experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team. This role will highly require specialist knowledge of the operation of CNC tooling. Your role will be to support the sales of new CNC equipment and to service an existing SA customer base with tooling recommendations and sales.
This opportunity offers a technical salesperson to use their hands on CNC machining experience together with a b2b role dealing with customers and suppliers, quoting, ordering, projects, and on-site customer service.
Your Role:
Collating lists of prospective clients and maintaining existing client database
Continually maintaining product knowledge and undertaking market research regarding competitors’ products and services
Visiting regular clients and new prospects to establish and respond to selling opportunities
Understanding customers’ current and future needs and making recommendations; providing customers with details of products and services
Monitoring client needs and competitor activity, and reporting any development to sales management
Providing quotations and negotiating prices and business terms, completing contracts, and recording orders
Arrange for product delivery and installation, providing any training on the CNC machines operation for tool cutting selections, as necessary
Providing management reports on sales
Undertake customer satisfaction surveys and resolving any problems
You will need:
Skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification.
Or atleast five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications
Excellent communication skills
Good presentation
A self-motivated attitude and able to work autonomously or within a team
Extensive knowledge of CNC programming and machining experience
CAD/CAM experience
