Having run successful pop-up dining events over the last 5 years, they have established a a Cellar Kitchen (Restaurant) with a permanent bar snacks/lunch offering – a thrilling time to join the business! About the Role An exciting career opportunity exists for a Sous Chef to join their team in a full time position. The ideal candidate will have a wind range of preparation and cooking skills, be familiar with the operation of a busy kitchen, strong knowledge of produce, techniques, and the ability to prepare and execute beautiful dishes in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities - Help planning and designing menus
- Preparing food items according to recipes and menus
- Maintain high standard of food presentation
- Management of stock ordering and rotation
- Ensuring all equipment is appropriately maintained and cleaned
- Ensuring the correct storage of food and ingredients
- Managing junior staff members
- Promote Health and Safety at all times
- Minimize wastage/ spoilage.
- Daily checks of all mis en place to ensure freshness & quality standards.
- Maintain food safety related documentations and follow local food safety standards
