Our client based in regional NSW is looking for a full time skilled meat workers for their meat processing plant. Skilled Boners/Slicers The positions would involve the following duties: • Table boning. • Cutting meat to separate meat, fat, and tissue from around bones. • Washing, scraping, and trimming foreign material and blood from meat. • Cutting meat into standard meat cuts, and removing internal fat, blood clots, bruises, and other matter to prepare them for packing and marketing. Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications • Excellent knife skills and maintenance of personal equipment • Attention to detail • Excellent reliability, attendance and timekeeping at work • Good communication and positive teamwork • Sound problem solving capabilities, including reporting malfunctioning of equipment, or workplace health and safety issues • Ability to manage priorities to meet production schedules • Ability to work within a cold storage environment and with raw meat products • Sound understanding of Australian meat industry • AQF Certificate Ill in Meat Processing (in Boning Room) • Fully vaccinated for Q Fever (or be willing to undergo the Q Fever vaccination process) • Must complete a Pre-employment medical functional drug and alcohol test • Minimum of 2 years of experience Remuneration This is subject to your skills, qualifications, and experience but it would be within a salary range of between $60,000- $70,000 per annum+ superannuation If you feel you have the necessary requirements for these positions, please contact us on the link below.
