Looking to Move to Australia

Our client is one of Sydney's  most iconic  restaurants with a reputation built on quality and service, resulting in multiple American Express and Boral Energy Awards. They are looking for a highly skilled and innovative chef to join their team.

 

As a chef you will be responsible for 

  • Menu development reflecting both modern and traditional gourmet culinary trends
  • Able to work harmoniously with front of house team to deliver exceptional meals, in line with service standards to guarantee customer satisfaction
  • Preparation and production of food items for menu/s to ensure they meet the exceptional standards 
  • Maintains food preparation handling and correct storage standards
  • Adaptable to work across multiple kitchen outlets when rostered 
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage food costs effectively
  • Adhere to strict health, hygiene and safety standards at all times
  • Plan and manage portion control 
  • Provide in kitchen training as required

Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience working in a commercial kitchen, and be trade qualified to at least an AQF Certificate III standard or equivalent
• The ability to operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

 

Salary range $73,000-$76,000 per annum + superannuation.
