Pastry Cook
Torrens Park, SA

Required: 

  • AQF Certificate III OR at least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications for position.
  • Preparation, creation, decoration and delivery of cakes, patisserie and pastry products
  • Plan, develop and estimate food costs when ordering food supplies
  • Monitor quality of dishes
  • Kneading, maturing, cutting, moulding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry goods
  • Prepare and cook food demonstrating a variety of cooking techniques
  • Experience working with pastry's and other dessert cooking
  • Keep kitchen and enforce hygiene regulations 
  • Enthusiasm and creative approach to providing high-quality cuisine
  • Demonstrated understanding of Australian food safety and HACCP
  • Monitor and produce quality dishes in all stages of preparation and organisation

Salary Range $68,000-$78,000 + super, dependent on experience.
