Our Client is a renowned cheese factory and venue located in Glynde, South Australia. The factory serves the retail, food service, and industrial markets. It is a family-owned business specializing in authentic Italian-style cheeses such as Bocconcini, Ricotta, and Mozzarella. Your role would include and not be limited to the following duties: - Conducting food experiments to identify the chemical composition and reactive properties
- Develop new and innovative food products
- Develop and set standards for pricing of products
- Develop and improve the packaging and marketing of food products
- Test food products through nutritional content, colour, flavour and texture.
- Advise on correct preservation, packaging and storing of food products.
- Coordinate food making processes, directing workers in development of food products.
- Following workplace occupation Health and Safety (OHS) protocols
To be considered for this role you must have the following attributes: Relevant qualifications: have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification or at least five years of experience may substitute for the formal qualification. - Trained and relevant experience in food technology.
- Develop and monitor food property processes and production.
- Demonstrate efficient work practices
- Well-developed communication skills
