We deliver automation platforms, IoT-enabled devices, and integrated support services across a wide range of industries. As a specialist ICT Support and Test Engineer you will be responsible for delivering high-quality technical support by testing Automaate’s automation, robotics, and digital systems. This includes installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, and user support for hardware, software, networks, and integrated digital platforms. • Provide Level 1–3 technical support for Automaate devices, automation platforms, software applications, and IoT systems. • Analyse, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues in customer environments. • Develop test strategies, conducting quality audits, monitoring system performance and respond to service requests, incidents, and escalations in a timely manner. • Test, identify and diagnose any system or programming code functionality errors and faults to ensure systems perform to specification. • Install, configure, and commission automation systems, robotics equipment, and supporting ICT infrastructure. • Perform scheduled maintenance upgrades, firmware updates, system architecture checks, and preventative servicing, making recommendations for current and future hardware and software improvements. • Set up networking components (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, routers, VPNs, firewalls) required for system communication. • Ensure all installations adhere to Automaate’s technical standards, security practices, and operational procedures. • Ability to diagnose issues logically and resolve problems independently. • Review standard operating procedures, technical reports and guides and inventory maintenance systems. • Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, and customer interactions within the support system. • Experience supporting customers in a field service or remote support capacity. •Provide clear, professional technical assistance to customers, both on-site and remotely You will need to have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification including at least two years of relevant experience. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. You will be paid between $76,000-$80,000 p.a. + superannuation.
