Our client is an established dynamic South Australian family-owned business supplying potatoes and onions (and other crops) for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markets nationally. They are currently looking for skilled, experienced and qualified Production Operator and Production Supervisor for their business. 

As a Production Operator you are responsible for the operation of machinery and equipment to assist with assembling, manufacturing, processing, packaging and quality assurance of items along a production line. 

Your tasks will include:

• Set up cleaning and maintenance schedules to prevent problems by keeping machines in good working order

• Operating production machinery, including calibrating equipment to monitoring gauges, making adjustments as required

• Inspect finished products, take samples and undertake product quality control
• Prepare products for dispatch.
• Have at least 1 year of work expererience
• Have at least a relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent Or 1 year of relevant experience may substitute the qualification. 

As a Production Supervisor you are responsible for overseeing and organizing the equipment, staff, and processes on a production floor. Oversee scheduling and routine production activities as well as acting as first-line troubleshooting should problems arise.

Your tasks will include:

• Overseeing the operation of production machinery
• Overseeing the set up cleaning and maintenance schedules for machinery and equipment
• Overseeing product inspection and product quality control.
• Have 1 year of work experience with a relevant AQF Certificate III qualification or equivalent Or 3 years of relevant work experience to substitute the qualification

You will be paid between $68,000-$70,000 p.a. + superannuation
