We are currently recruiting for experienced Vegetable Packers who are highly motivated and enthusiastic. The role will see you enjoy a wide variety of tasks.

Extensive on the job training will be provided to enable you to perform these integral roles.

Your role will include

• Obtaining delivery of vegetables and to assemble bags, packaging and cartons
• Packing containers and bags with product, and to count, weigh and measure amounts and adjusts quantities
• Wrap protective material around products, seals bags and containers, and attach pre-printed labels
• Count and place bags and packages onto trays and racks, and into shipping cartons
• Record information such as numbers, weight, times and dates
• Monitor the filling of containers and adjusts machines to maintain volume and seal quality
• Monitor the supply and quality of containers and contents of holding tanks
• Check the cleanliness and operation of machines, equipment and containers
• Adhere to company OH&S protocols and procedures.

Key attributes

• Previous experience in these fields will be highly regarded
• Good communication skills which will enable you to liaise with managers, supervisors and other crew members.
• Strong attention to details and show pride in your work.
• Be flexible with working hours over 7 days/nights.
• Hard working and highly reliable.

This is a full-time position with salary range $65,835-$75,000pa + superannuation determined by experience.
