Our client a well-established engineering and fabricating company who provides high quality products to their clients. Currently they are looking for full time skilled and experienced Engineering Technologist to join their dynamic team.
You will be working as part of a friendly team to highly produce products. Your role will include analyzing and modifying new and existing engineering technologies to engineering projects.
Assisting in the design and engineering of fabrication products
Using CAD software to create technical drawings and specifications.
Working with production teams to ensure the feasibility of designs in manufacturing.
Provide technical support for internal teams, assisting in the resolution of various engineering related issues
Use Microsoft 365 and other technical software for engineering and communication processes.
Assisting in material selection for fabrication
Evaluating production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Ensuring compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Conducting testing and analysis
Investigating products failures and recommending design improvements.
Assisting in project planning and coordination
Researching and recommending new materials or design improvements.
Preparing technical reports, manuals, and documentation for products and processes.
Ensuring compliance with local and building codes/structural codes, safety regulations, and environment standards.
Providing technical advice to clients
Assisting the sales and marketing teams with product knowledge and specifications.
You must have:
Skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification
At least 1 year of experience working as an engineering technologist or similar occupation
Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work in a team
You will be paid between $75,000-$80,000 p.a. + superannuation
