Our client is a leading supplier and exporter of premium Oaten Hay supporting the dairy communities around the world with reliable forage solutions. They are looking for a Engineering Manager to manage their engineering department.

The role is to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the design, engineering and technical operations at our Wannamal Plant facility.

This includes developing and maintaining procedures, working with other departments to provide engineering design support, and providing oversight of the engineering in the manufacturing process.

Your responsibilities would include:

Planning, organising, directing and controlling the engineering and technical operations
Oversight and execution of research and development projects
Implementing and monitoring research and development strategies, policies and plans
Complete project work in an efficient and timely manner
Establishing project schedules and budgets
Oversee maintenance and optimise engineering efficiencies
Ensure conformity with specifications plans, ensuring all regulations and safety requirements are met
Provide technical support, documentation, certification, and quality requirements
Provide workshop engineering and testing support
Assist Quality Manager with technical quality documentation
Liaise and attend meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid to business and organisational development
Liaise with other departments and personal

Key Requirements 

Minimum of Bachelor Degree in Engineering 

Excellent Project Management Skills 

Strong People Development Skills

Minimum 5 years engineering and operational management experience in manufacturing operations
