Our client is looking for experienced and skilled Asset Manager for their business. The Asset Manager is responsible for the strategic, financial and commercial management of the Company's hotel and property investment assets on behalf of the asset owner. The role focuses on maximising asset value, financial performance and long-term investment returns through strategic planning, financial analysis, performance monitoring, capital expenditure oversight and stakeholder management. 

Your Tasks will include:

-Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximise the financial performance, investment returns and long-term value of the Company's hotel and property assets.
-Monitor and analyse asset performance, including revenue, profitability, operating expenditure, cash flow, budgets, forecasts and investment returns.
-Monitor the performance of the appointed hotel operator against approved business plans, budgets, key performance indicators and contractual obligations.
-Review annual budgets, business plans, financial forecasts and performance reports submitted by the hotel operator and provide recommendations to the asset owner.
-Develop and oversee capital expenditure, refurbishment and asset enhancement strategies, including evaluating proposed expenditure against expected investment returns and asset value.
-Conduct financial and commercial analysis to identify opportunities to improve asset performance, operational efficiency and investment value.
-Monitor hotel, property and investment market conditions and assess their potential impact on the performance and value of the Company's assets.
-Manage key relationships with hotel operators, financiers, valuers, consultants, contractors and other professional advisers on behalf of the asset owner.
-Prepare regular financial, commercial and asset performance reports for directors, shareholders and other relevant stakeholders.
-Identify and manage commercial, financial and operational risks affecting the Company's assets and recommend appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
-Provide strategic advice regarding the acquisition, refinancing, restructuring, repositioning, redevelopment or disposal of hotel and property assets.
-Review major commercial contracts and proposals affecting the assets and provide recommendations to management from an investment and asset management perspective.

You will need:

-Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Business, Commerce, Finance, Property, Hotel Management or a related discipline; and/or substantial relevant professional experience in asset, investment, property or hospitality management.

-At least two years of relevant experience 

-Demonstrated experience in financial and commercial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and asset performance management.
-Strong understanding of hotel/property investment, asset valuation, capital expenditure and investment returns.
-Strong analytical, commercial, stakeholder management and reporting skills.

You will be paid between $105,000 to $120,000 p.a. + superannuation.
