Our client is a well-established specialist aviation facility certified to inspect, repair and overhaul aircraft, engines and components to ensure airworthiness and safety. Currently they are looking for a full time skilled and experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join their dynamic team.
You will be working as part of a friendly team to work on component repairs and overhauls including landing gear, wheels and composite propellers.
Your role will include:
to maintain, service, inspect, test and undertake fault diagnosis of airframe, engine (including propellers and rotors) and electrical systems, components and accessories on aircraft.
dismantling, repairing and reassembling aircraft systems, and subassemblies of aircraft frames
testing and installing electrical circuits and equipment
replacing and testing aircraft system components
assembling parts and subassemblies of aircraft frames
conducting pre-flight inspections of engines, aircraft frames and mechanical systems
maintaining records of action taken
You must have:
Skill commensurate with relevant trade qualification a or a minimum of 3 years of relevant trade experience
At least 1 year of experience working as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician or similar occupation
Problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
Ability to work in a team
You will be paid between $78,000-$90,000 p.a. + superannuation
